Weekly meetings Presented by Sandra Sabene @ Liverpool Art Center
5 Weeks of Inspiration...
Telling our stories can be an incredibly challenging mountain to climb especially when we can’t imagine where to begin. How can we dig in and write down or even speak our stories when it’s the very thing we spend our energy trying to avoid? Why would we even want to unbury the dark moments, the mistakes we can’t think about without self judgement and criticism?
Rising Strong by Brene’ Brown outlines why and how. It takes courage to rising after we fall no matter what challenges we’ve faced. It takes authenticity and digging deep into our most vulnerable arenas to develop a personal formula for rising strong. Why would we want to do this? Because when we learn HOW to rise strong, we aren’t afraid to fall. Because we have the strength and courage and tools to know that when we fall again we dust our selves off. We rise strong to shine our light for others to see the way.

The physics of vulnerability is simple: If we are brave enough often enough, we will fall. This is a book about what it takes to get back up and how owning our stories of disappointment, failure, and heartbreak gives us the power to write a daring new ending. Struggle can be our greatest call to courage and Rising Strong, our clearest path to deeper meaning, wisdom and hope." ~Google books
