As an Advanced CR Facilitator, you are part of a team that inspires creative connections and promotes positive change in our schools and communities. Your commitment to learning, skill building and co-creating with experienced CR Facilitator Team Leaders is an exciting pathway for you. Your own ideas will help nurture communities and become part of the foundations we are creating as a team. The cutting edge of integrating alternative approaches is an exciting adventure. As part of our team, you will help create the change we want to see in our world, with our communities and for our children. 


As a result of your training...

  • How to mentor CR Facilitators and lead large groups

  • How to skillfully set up and manage critical event planning skillfully

  • How co-facilitate CR DCF Training

  • Set-up, co-facilitate and lead solo rhythm events onsite

Creative Rhythms includes THREE SPECIALTIES: 

Important note: Attendees are NOT required to have all 3 certifications to attend the retreat.

 Meditative Painting and Creative Jam Session Workshops: Teaches the art of letting go. Energizing/ relaxing/ interactive expressive arts group activities blending art, music and active meditation. 

• Creative Rhythms drum program: non-verbal communication for team building/ leadership skills

• Meditation: simple evidence based tools for managing anxiety, stress and depression

What's the total cost to become an Certified Creative Rhythms -Advanced Facilitator ?

$600 includes: A full weekend Rhythm In 2 full weekend Drum Circle Facilitator Trainings ($140 each) and 6 drum events including drum class and crum circle ($20 each). 

Q: What if I don’t Register for the CRF Retreat? Will I still be an advanced CRF?

A: YES! But the certification is completed when the CRF Retreat is completed. This means we will still offer you benefits as an intermediate until completing the advanced level which includes: 4 full days of co-facilitation and immersion.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Must be at least 18yrs old

 

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

LAC is on a bus line. Uber & Lyft are available, Parking onsite and at Salt Museum/Onondaga Park

 

What can I bring into the event?

You can bring paper and pen, ID, and lunch money. Drums are provided, but you may bring your own too

What's the refund policy?

Your payment can be transfered to someone else or held on credit to attend another event with LAC. Some restrictions apply. Please email for details or questions.

 

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

NO, you do not need to print your ticket

 

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Name does not need to match the person on the ticket. ID will be required along with confirmation that you are the valid attendee for that event if the names differ.

  • Creative Rhythms Curriculum is customize to the needs of the group attending the training and their community needs.

  • This program will likely vary somewhat with every training depending on attendees, group size & space

  • Learn basic knowledge of drums and percussion and learn how to care for, obtain and repair instruments. We share vendors and resources.

  • Explore pathways for taking this program to the next level by reading about our CRF Training Levels: Apprentice, Intermediate and Advanced

  • Building your program into a community, business or existing community and starting a drum circle with a strong foundation and vision.
